1974 26' Eleganza SE. Nearly all original, in good condition for it's age. Has the original velour interior, and it's in good, useable conditon. Carpet is not original but is in very good shape. Only 44 of these were made. Could use paint to pretty her up, windows need re-sealed. Hot water tank had been bypassed by last owner; I was told it worked, but overheated...I never looked into it. Fresh / grey water tank gauges don't read correctly. Other than that, everything works as it should. Single roof AC, 3 way fridge, 6kw Onan generator, engine air (new compressor) furnace, air suspension, water system all work. A perfect candidate for a restore, needing only paint, window seals and some TLC to have a great coach, or very useable as it sits. Fly into Columbus Oh, (CMH) and drive it home. 455 engine runs well, no smoke, holds great oil pressure, timing chain and water pump replaced a few years back...Radiator re-cored, alternator rebuilt with a double groove pulley installed to prevent the infamous squeal known to these motorhomes. Ignition system upgraded to HEI,...transmission shifts as it should, no slippage, steers and drives great, (steering box replaced a few years ago), modified battery tray to accept 2 house batteries and one engine battery, ...all three were replaced in Spring of 2010. Brakes work well, tires ok, although the two rear (forward) tires are well worn, the other four have plenty of tread. Air bags hold, I can include an extra set as spares. (used, but good)... I installed a am/fm mechless stereo, (no tape or cd)..but accepts flash drive / sd card or Ipod as the music source. Gimme a call or shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions.
