Some of our members are selling their coachs and will be missed
by all of us.
Jack and Jo Pinkston, Charles Blasingame, and
Elmer Slaughter have coaches advertised in this issue.
Gus and Doree Simpson will be ready to sell when they have the
coach ready.
ED AND MERIAM DUPONT have just celebrated their Fiftieth Anniversary. He is getting along fine. They have sold their coach but hope to see us in Rayne for International. Meriam says "Thanks" for the card sent by the Classics.
JIM & PEG ONG celebrated their 50th in October at a Family Reunion in Illinois, attended by Peg's parents. Peg & Jim in turn attended her parents 73rd anniversary in June!!
THANKS, also from Gus & Doree for the card we sent from the rally!!!
As far as we can determine, the Oklahoma weather spared all our Classic folks.
After much hard work and many hours on Bob
Sullivan's part, the computer program is set up to print new rosters.
Hopefully they can be available by the July rally. THANKS, BOB!!
HEALTH NOTES
A.J. MARSHALL has undergone two surgeries (one in Nov. and one in Feb.) to clear the arteries in his neck. Two weeks prior to this writing, he had prostate removal surgery when several cancers were detected. He is recuperating at home. Keep your chin up, A.J!!
JUNE CALLICOATT reports that she is still recuperating from Breast Cancer surgery. She has been fighting an infection but is grateful that it was caught in time and she did not need Chemo or other treatment.
JOE HOWELL has almost recovered from a fractured vertebra, which kept them away from the April rally.
HATTIE BELL has been in a nursing home since November suffering from Altzheimer's. Tom asked to be remembered to all of you.
RAY BAKER is doing nicely after hip replacement surgery a few weeks ago. He suffered an injury from a fall in his drive way. Be sure to ask what he was doing when it occurred. Earlene called to ask me to thank all their Classic friends for all the cards, calls and prayers on their behalf.
JOHN WELLS was very ill at the time of the April rally with Shingles. Delphine reports that this is indeed a stubborn condition. He still has severe swelling in his right side. Because he has no appetite, he is not gaining strength back as he should. They hope to make the July rally.
ZACK CARTWRIGHT isn't feeling well at the present
time. He is again undergoing Chemo and to make matters worse is
suffering from Shingles. We'll all be thinking of you, Zack, and
hoping better days are coming soon!
