Justin Hill's Dinette to Double Bed Conversion

Transforming the GMC dinette into a full size double bed.

Picture 2: This shows both the wooden extension and the 'folding' cushion. Note the metal fastener on the 2x2. attached to the bed extension. Although only one 2x2. is clearly visible in the picture, there is another one on the other end too. Now notice the wooden escutcheon attached to the end of the seat with the other half of the metal catch on it. There is a also another one on the end of the other dinette seat. The extension rests on the first step up front and this determines where to fasten the escutcheons to the end of the dinette seats.
